Visiting our website
You can use our website without logging in. There is no contact form. Photos, videos and fonts are loaded from our web server; language selection uses separate German and English pages.
To deliver and secure the website, the web server processes technical access data, including your IP address, the time, requested page, response status and information supplied by your browser about the browser, operating system and, where applicable, the previously visited page. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is reliable and secure operation of the website, including resolving technical faults.
The website is hosted by A1 Telekom Austria AG, Lassallestraße 9, 1020 Vienna, Austria. A1 states that the servers and data storage for Webspace Business are located in Austria. Access logs in our hosting account are rotated daily, retaining no more than 14 archived files in addition to the current file. A1 specifies 14 days for automatic Webspace backups. Cookies and tracking
Our visitor pages use no analytics or advertising trackers and set no cookies for their own functions. The gallery, videos and language selection also work without tracking. The separate WordPress administration area may use necessary login and settings cookies for authorised administrators.
When you contact us by email or phone
Only when you contact us do we process the contact and message details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, preferred travel dates and enquiry. We use this information to reply and, where relevant, arrange or fulfil your stay. An email link opens your email application; clicking it does not send us a message.
The legal basis for booking enquiries and contracts is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. We handle general enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest in responding to matters addressed to us. Providing your details is voluntary; we may be unable to reply without the information needed to handle your request.
Our email mailbox is provided by A1. We also use Microsoft Outlook on Android to handle email. Copies of emails are synchronised with the Microsoft Cloud. For the European Economic Area, Microsoft identifies Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland, as a privacy contact. Microsoft states that data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, and describes safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement and Outlook synchronisation information. Simply visiting our website does not trigger this email processing.
We retain enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and any necessary follow-up. We then delete the data unless retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Retention required by law is based on Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
External links and booking portals
Booking.com, Wörthersee.com, Google Maps, Facebook and regional services are provided as links only. Their content is not automatically loaded when you visit our website. Following a link takes you to the respective provider’s website, where its privacy information applies.
If a booking portal passes your booking details on to us, we use them to arrange your stay under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and meet legal obligations.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
Please contact the controller using the details above. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly where you live, work or believe an infringement occurred. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
We do not use your data for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects, or create user profiles.
